I've adopted from High Sierra Twice, ten years apart and each time has been a wonderful experience. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Their careful intake and introduction process shows how concerned they are about making sure both dogs and humans find the best match. Chances are, I'll be visiting them again in 5-10 years to meet my next new family member!

We adopted Tater yesterday and he is going to be a wonderful addition to our family. The staff is absolutely amazing there and really cares about the dogs going to the perfect fit home. Carol took our dog Gypsy outside and inside for the two to interact. Unlike anywhere else, we were not rushed to make a decision. I will drive from Reno to board them in the future if needed because they truly do love their animals

I volunteer here and know that the dogs are very well taken care of by the hard working staff. Please consider adopting from here. I don't have a dog now but hope to in the near future =)
