Holy Cross Cemetery

I recently attended a funeral at this cemetery and found it to be well maintained and peaceful. The property has two sections: an older area with larger headstones and a newer section where the service I attended took place. Parking inside the grounds is limited, so I parked outside without any issues. There are several flower vendors located outside the gates, which was very helpful. The cemetery is very clean, and I was told that they do weekly cleanups every Thursday, including removing old flowers from graves. There are also a few trees throughout the property, providing some shade.

I truly love Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and consistently clean and well maintained. You can tell the staff puts effort into keeping the cemetery looking nice, and I appreciate that very much.

My only complaint is regarding decorations. As families, we pay a lot to lay our loved ones to rest, and it’s disappointing that we are not allowed to decorate their plots the way we want. As long as decorations are respectful and not disturbing neighboring plots, I don’t see why they should be removed, especially when families have spent money and put love into honoring their loved ones.
