The previous owner had completed several renovations over the years, and every contractor seemed to insulate things a little differently. By the time we bought the home, the attic contained old batt insulation, loose-fill insulation, and several areas with almost no coverage at all. Attic Prime recommended starting with a clean slate. We built this home nearly twenty years ago, and insulation standards have changed quite a bit since then. Attic Prime reviewed the attic and recommended upgrades that would bring the insulation levels closer to current requirements. They installed new blown-in insulation and corrected several airflow issues near the soffits. The work was completed on schedule, and the attic looks significantly better than it did before.

Upgrading insulation in our attic was for energy savings and removing years of debris. The crew started with cleaning, vacuuming out the old material, and sealing gaps around the framing. From there, they added new batts with the correct R-value for California’s requirements. The difference in temperature control inside our home was immediate, and the project was finished on schedule.
