Was there for my severe epilepsy. Long wait! I had not only fallen, but I had hit my head. My seizures would not stop. My skull was in extreme pain, all bones. I have a sinus infection too, but this was already being treated with antibiotics. Pain was very high, 8. No pain control which is BAD! Right as I was being discharged I was given a pill for pain. IV Tylenol! WOW , scary! No seizure rails on bed, bad! No allergy alert bands or limb alert bands AND if I was to seize or were too I can't have certain meds and I can't have any injections on the right side due to a prior lumpectomy/lymph node removal. Also, Dr did no eye test tracking, surprising! And no strength test...read full review

Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for me and saved my life on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The saying goes "life can change in a heartbeat". Well it did for me on this particular morning. I woke up feeling fine and went to the office to catch up on some work. Started with a headache and then chest pains. Hmm. I knew something was amiss and left work. I drove myself straight to Kaiser urgent care and they immediately saw me and performed an EKG. That's when all hell broke loose. They told me I was having a heart attack and rushed me to Stanford Health Care Hospital by ambulance in Pleasanton. I went straight to the Cath Lab and a cardiologist, Dr. Aman Saw, performed a procedure called a cardiac catheterization through my right coronary artery and placed a couple of stents in the artery. This was my life saving procedure. The doctor told me had I waited another hour or two to seek medical attention, this would be a different story and thus I would not be Yelping again! I'm out of the hospital now and feeling much better. On the road to recovery and a new perspective on life.

Stanford Healthcare is getting worse. If I need an RX refill - the pharmacy has to contact them several times and I have to contact them several times not good - used to be much better. Another more pressing concern is that some depts do not communicate with others regarding patient care - they are supposed to be able to pull up records for each patient and review all the care given to better understand the patient needs.
