She closely monitored me and my baby and responded to all my messages and phone calls even if it is not working hour and intervened timely and delivered the baby safely at the end of 36 week.After delivering the baby she gave me prophylactic treatment for pre eclampsia and took great care of me. “I was referred to a Dr. that came with great recommendations; Dr. Mack also was in the same office. I had some issues with my first pregnancy that caused me to be on bed rest for a few months. When my doctor went on a long vacation at the end of my pregnancy, Dr. Mack took over and I was a bit apprehensive of this change. On the big day, I was in labor for some time in the hospital, my baby became distress and I had to deliver by C-section. Dr. Mack was great. He was right there at the hospital right away. He knew exactly what to say to make sure I was calm. He made me feel this was a regular procedure. I didn't even notice that it was an emergency; they got me into surgery in less than 10 minutes. Everyone in the room was ready to go. Dr. Mack was calm and delivered my baby without any issues. For my second baby, I went to Dr. Mack and had no issues. My first C-section scar, I had scratched so much that it became huge and lumpy. I told him about this and for my second C-section, he fixed it and it was so tiny(note: don't scratch a fresh scar!), it was barely noticeable AND most importantly I never had any problems with my body afterwards (for either C-section). He even came to see me and the baby afterwards (both times). For my third baby, I went with a female doctor at another location in Fremont ONLY because Dr. Mack's Nurse Practitioner left and I wanted a female nurse to see me for other issues. This female doctor was/is highly rated. My surgery took three times as long. I have a huge scar from that C-section (earlier during my checkups, she commented on how tiny my scar was from Dr. Mack). Moreover, since having the C-section with this female doctor, my body hasn't been the same since. Seems like my bladder was affected (I'm thinking due to scar tissue inside), also I have stiches (the feeling of your side hurting after running) when I am just walking around. She didn't even come to see me afterwards to see how I was doing. One of my regrets in life was not having Dr. Mack deliver my third child. I will always wonder if I went to Dr. Mack if I would still have these issues. I would recommend Dr. Mack to my best friend. He is experienced and his work shows it. Also, I like both Vickys (his assistants).“

“First off, I want to emphasize some important things about the Washington Hospital Birthing experience here in case people don't read the full review: 1.) Breast-Feeding First Hospital Washington Hospital is a breast-feeding first hospital and they will highly encourage (at times maybe push) for this way of feeding for the newborn. In case you already know you don't want this specific method, you should probably search another hospital that is more alternative friendly to formula or expressing milk from pumping into a bottle. 2.) Natural Delivery (not officially stated) Based on my experience, they also highly prefer doing a natural delivery if at all possible rather than going for a c-section. Of course they will make the right call if there is a high-risk of natural delivery issues but they will try their best to give a natural delivery if they can. 3.) No Nursery (only NICU - neonatal intensive care unit) For safety reasons, they have gotten rid of their general nursery (no chance of accidentally switching the baby with another as well as more bonding time with the baby). As such, keep in mind that your baby will be with you at all times even when you are exhausted and need a break. If you prefer a hospital with a general nursery so you can rest, you should also look elsewhere. FULL REVIEW (more detailed breakdown): [[ Parking ]] Although they have ample parking and overflow lots in the adjacent street, the actual parking lot in front of the hospital/birthing center is small and tight in size. If you happen to go at a busy time, you definitely will not find parking and this can be stress-inducing if your wife is already feeling contractions. They do have a drop-off / pick-up area but I did not find the overall parking situation great. I hope they are able to expand out their parking lot in the future in front of the main entrance to relieve stress. [[ Security ]] There is a security check-in and bag inspection before even getting to the 2nd floor birthing area. When the baby is born, they will also be geo-tagged to make sure they are not taken out of the hospital without permission and they are very careful around this area. [[ Labor & Delivery Staff, Security, Postpartum Staff, Doctors ]] Overall, I would like to say most of the staff here are extremely caring and very supportive. They would check-in often to see how things are going and I believe genuinely love their jobs and babies as well. The staff that helped us were all parents themselves and can relate to what we are going through and always gave tips on what to do in the future in order to have an easier time. Keep in mind, a variety of staff (nurse, lab staff, doctors) will be in and out at various times so expect a TON of traffic into your room. On the whiteboard in your room, you will have a dedicated nurse and a supervisor (in case you can't reach your nurse) with their numbers to dial in case you need help. They all have shifts so the staff will change often after their shift is over and you will get a new staff to help you. [[ Facilities ]] Before you are officially admitted, you will first go to a holding room for a while to make sure the labor and delivery is actually coming soon. After that, they will move you to your permanent room. The permanent room is decently sized and the pull out-bed couch for me was long enough (I'm 5' 11'' and fit well). We overpacked since we had no idea what we needed but I was able to fit my medium sized luggage, two backpacks, a duffel, and various other blankets/pillows without too much issue. See picture for a general idea of what it looks like. The only downside I think of the room is the bathroom/shower area. It's VERY small and I only used the shower once since I thought it was uncomfortable. I'm not sure how someone who just delivered a baby can comfortably use the shower without feeling cramped. Hopefully it will get a remodel soon? The A/C is also constantly on which is okay during the day time but it's really cold at night. Definitely use the provided blanket“
