I've been a boarder here for over two years, and it's a wonderful facility. The horses always come first! My fellow boarders are friendly and supportive, the arenas are always groomed and ready first thing in the morning, the staff are incredibly hard-working and kind, and the owner Lourdes is absolutely terrific. My horses and I are so happy here!
I truly have never boarded somewhere more wonderful. The horse care, and community at La Jolla Equestrian is top-notch. Lourdes, the barn owner, goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy, safe, and having a good time. She is always making improvements to the property, and instilling a culture of peace and respect with all the boarders. As someone with a disability, I can also say that both Lourdes and the trainers always make sure that ADA access and general safety are always considered. Everyone is welcomed here equally, be it beginner lesson students, or the professionals. This is the best barn in the Bay Area. Absolutely second to none.
Although I don't board here my friend does and I go there often to pick up her horse. The facilities are always clean and horses happy and healthy looking . It's easy for me to pull my trailer in and out of which is a huge plus and my friend always has a nice supply of hay to take for the day that ranch management provides. Her horse is much happier and looks very well fed and happy .
