This was my initial appointment. I had a yearly exam and purchased prescription sunglasses. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly - Sherry at check-in, Dr. Chen’s thorough examination, and Iris helping select and order sunglasses. Conveniently located on Black Avenue. Overall experience was a pleasure. I will return in a year for my next yearly exam. I happily recommend Amador Valley Optometric.
Dr. Chen is very thorough, and spends a good amount of time with you to explain procedures and results. She listens, and the appointment doesn't feel rushed. The staff is very friendly and competent.
I have had eye exams before, but this was my sons first time.
The doctor explained everything very carefully and in a way that was easy to understand. I am truly grateful that we found such a wonderful eye doctor.
All of the staff were also very nice, and everything went smoothly.
Thank you very much.
