Good experience after a painful surprise! A box cutter in my handbag had somehow shucked off its plastic casing, causing an exposed razor blade to dig deeply into my finger when I reached into the bag. I knew immediately I'd need stitches; I'll spare the details but the way it bled looked like a horror movie special effect.
This was the nearest open urgent care facility at that time. I called, quickly verified that I could be seen, and made my way down to this clinic, where I experienced great quality of care.

I was seeing at the Playa Vista location on 04/02/2026 for the the Laceration of upper lip. I would like to thank the clinic from the bottom of my heart for their attentiveness, high work ethics and professionalism. I felt that I was treated like a family. The front desk person actually looked at me and took an interest in my situation. The mail nurse( unfortunately I don’t know his first name) was terrific and very helpful, but the nurse-practitioner Erin was an absolute Star. She put me at ease right away and perform a high quality repair to my lip. I am now a little over a week after an incident and my scar is barely noticeable. I visited the urgent care with symptoms of slight fever the night before and lower back pain. I received the most thorough evaluation ever!
The nurse practitioner was phenomenal and stated she would not stop until we found the cause of my ailment. She ordered blood work a chest x-ray and then finally she sent me for a CT scan the same day this is where it was discovered that I had appendicitis, even though I did not have typical symptoms of pain on my side or nausea or High fever. I went to the emergency room and had my surgery later that night.
I am so thankful for Sarah‘s determination and thoroughness.
