Placerville Animal Wellness is a veterinary clinic known for its affordability and compassionate care. The staff, led by Dr. Raymond, helps animals, especially those with limited financial resources. They go above and beyond for necessary medical attention, even in emergencies. The clinic's honest approach means patients get essential treatments without being overcharged. While there can be a wait, the significant difference in cost makes it a popular choice for those seeking an honest veterinarian. The office visit is only $25, with upfront pricing for treatment options. The vet seemed to actually care about the animal, not just trying to charge for unrequired items. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable, offering support through difficult times, ensuring quality of life. They even worked with owners who couldn’t afford everything.
Dr Raymond is the best ever.
We carried my girl Maya (a white Labrador) into his business and because of doctor Raymond Maya walked out on her own and lived on for another year and a half to the age of 17yrs 6mos. I am beyond grateful for his wonderful care.
Dr Raymond saved my Bulldog Bowzers life after a blown urethra and a quote from a surgical center for $9000 to $20,000. I thought I was gonna have to put my dog down. Dr Raymond and his staff took care of my dog with compassion and quality care and did the surgery for under $1000. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen a vet do ! I hundred percent recommend Dr Raymond and always will Kaitlyn his assistant was so compassionate and so kind thank you.
We are so grateful for this vet. Not only did they provide amazing quality care at an accessible price; my dog, who gets so nervous at the vet, actually sat on the dr.s lap during our surgery consult. Something he only does when he feels very comfy with someone. We were seen here years ago now, and our guy has sadly passed, but I am so grateful to the people who work here. From me and avocado, thank you.
