Chris cut my hair all through my childhood and into adulthood, and now she's cutting my daughter's hair. Lions and Tigers is a Petaluma institution, and Chris and Dina are the best. It's a fun place to go, the vibe is impeccable, and they are so good with kids. Plus, it's very affordable, which is a pleasant break from paying $20 for a kid's bang trim.

This place is cute inside with toys to play with. The people cutting hair are great with kids. That said, be very specific about what you want or you kid might leave looking like they just got their first cut at boot camp. Thank goodness it grows quickly.

The salon has a great playroom for kids while they wait and when it is their turn, they are given a small basket full of toys to play during their hair cut. My son is very very shy, but he feels so comfortable around Dina and Chris. They talk to him, ask him about his weekend, school, favorite things and 15 minutes later my son has a perfect haircut. There is a kids’ hair salon where I live, which I’ve tried and didn’t like, so I’m happy to drive to Petaluma for my son’s hair cut. I highly recommend it! Chris and Dina, keep up the good work! You are true treasures, I feel so lucky to have access to such warm, loving and talented professionals like yourselves!

I went to another children's haircut place and they totally messed up my daughters haircut. I went to Lions and Tigers and Hair and they fixed it and I will never go anywhere else again. I am so thankful for Chris and the amazing stylist at Lions and Tigers for giving both my children a fantastic cut everytime. ❤️🙏

Chris and Dina are lovely, caring, and gentle humans! Not only do they give good cuts, they just "get" kids and know how to talk to them. We have been going to Lions & Tigers & Hair since our kids had enough hair to cut and will continue to go until our kids are all grown! So overrated. Wish I would have taken my kids to a different salon. I took my daughter and son here for their first haircuts. My daughter has ringlet curls. She needed a trim and a layer added in. The lady cutting her hair brushed out her curls making her hair all frizzy and gave her a dry cut. With her type of hair and for her first cut it should have been done wet. She never bothered with the layer. She then added in some type of hair product on her dry hair. I asked if she could at least get her hair wet to make the curls bounce back and she sprayed her hair with a mist of water which did absolutely nothing and she only sprayed half her head. She completely butchered my sons hair. When he got fussy instead of taking a minute to calm him down she rushed through it and quickly cut his hair. The whole experience was rushed. It's frustrating to pay for a service and then have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. My daughter walked out of that salon with a frizzy uneven cut.

I took my son yesterday for his first haircut and Kris who cut his hair did an amazing job! His hair cut is fabulous and she was so engaging with him while he got it done it went by in a flash. The shop is adorable and very well run. Totally recommend.
