Hillcrest Post Acute and Petaluma is a great skilled nursing facility, I was there from June 20th to July 4th 2026.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful, Franco, in admissions, goes above and beyond in making sure your requests are addressed and followed
The nursing staff handle their considerable workload well and are tuned into the patient's needs.
The Therapy department staff are well versed in their trade and provided to me excellent exercises and work--arounds while I am unable to wear my below the knee prosthetic due to knee surgery.
The food was great, large variety of meals and always flavorful.

Every staff member here bent over backwards to help me accomplish my goals. I came in on agurney. I worked with PT and OT and they really pushed me. Because of them I am walking out on my own 2 feet. You can count on professional service. Edgar, the C.N.A is an amazing person. He goes out of his way to help.
I had many concerns about my mother in a skilled nursing facility, and I'm grateful that the folks at Hillcrest made her month-long stay such a positive and healing experience. She got wonderful care and physical therapy, and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and responsive. Beyond excellent nursing care and physical therapy, the staff's support was hugely helpful in getting her to doctors' appointments, navigating her meds, and providing encouragement after a tough fall and through a lot of pain.
