Paul Is in a wheelchair and recovering from two back surgeries. He is dependent on a transport van service. He has been going to Paso Robles’s Physical Therapy and had a late afternoon appointment. There was some miscommunication with the Ride on transport service and Paul was left there sitting out in the parking lot by himself. I have been a neuro client of Alyson’s for a few months now and as someone who has been in & out of physical therapy for the past 8 years, it feels important to share that this experience has been very different than any PT I’ve experienced prior. Most of what I’ve experienced before has been repair of injuries. (Also important!) As someone who struggles with muscle spasticity and holding tension, I regularly tear, pull, and tweak muscles & tendons. I was seeking to find targeted PT that could actually address the root cause and hopefully prevent what has felt like a continuous cascade of injuries. My needs were minor having experienced weak and overused lower back muscles with pain occurring with increased frequency. I needed a series of exercises to strengthen core muscles in low back and abs. PRPT delivered with each visit. I have illustrations and a chart to track my daily and weekly performance. Thank you all.
