Big Creek Lumber

I was looking at redwood in San Luis Obispo in a local lumber yard not to be named and was floored at the prices. A neighbor told me to look at Big Creek Lumber in Paso Robles. I am so glad I did. The supply was much better and prices were way better. These guys manage their own redwood land and mill their product. You save by cutting out a middle man. Between you and I, I think they save the best cuts for their own stores.The staff was great. I just wanted to share a good find. From now on that's where Ill get my lumber.By the way they have all the sizes. The big box may have 12ft and 16 ft but Big Creek has 12'. 14', 16', 18', 20'.

Jose, who works in the yard, helped us load some very heavy railroad ties. He was wonderful and very friendly. Definitely customer service oriented. We had a horrible experience yesterday at Lowe’s trying to buy railroad ties. Big Creek will definitely be our go to place for lumber from now on.

I want to thank Jose who works in the yard for going above and beyond to find me some nice 2x6s for my project. Got some really nice looking boards thanks to his help. Great experience at Big Creek and highly recommended for redwood lumber
