Their fried chicken is pretty good when it's fresh. I think six o'clock is the perfect time to buy it. It costs between $5.99 to $10.99. You can make fried rice the next day with the leftovers. Sometimes I get there around 7:30. I use the chicken to make fried rice. My husband and my kids love it. It's perfect with day old, been in the fridge, or just has been sitting around rice. One cup cooked rice, three to four scrambled eggs, three to four shredded fried chicken, a teaspoon of salt, and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Make scrambled eggs, add shredded chicken, stir, sprinkle salt, add rice, and then add soy sauce. It takes about five minutes to make. Still good when you microwave it the next day at home or at work. If you like the brown bread from Cheesecake Factory, they have a sandwich for it. Again, their sandwiches are a great deal. They have upstairs parking when the parking on the ground floor gets busy.

I'm a neighbor to this Vons and make weekly if not daily visits. If you're shopping this Vons for the first time please know that this is a high volume high traffic Vons, but the location is beautiful and the inventory is plentiful. In the distant past, wait times have been long and dreadful, especially if you're a mom with kids. As of late the team has been swift and kind. There's been a noticable improvement to customer service. It was good before now it's great! I want to especially shoutout to Alison who, today, took initiative and helped disperse multiple long lines into the self-check out while STILL helping lost customers, questions and co workers. She showed great leadership, quickness and kindness throughout what seemed like a high pressure situation for the store. Awesome job Alison! We appreciate you!
