Came from NC to visit my son and was in need of a haircut. After checking reviews of salons in the area, I chose Upstairs Hair Salon. 1- Reviews were great 2- Price was doable for me. So thank you to all who wrote their experiences because I too was very happy with Marina! She COMPLETELY understood what type of haircut I wanted, and delivered!! I’m pretty picky with how my hair is blown out and for the first time in years, I didn’t have to go home and redo my hair!! She also gave me excellent advice on hair products without trying to sell me anything! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK when I come out here to visit!

Marina really takes the time to understand what you’re looking for, and I felt completely comfortable putting my hair in her hands. I left with a cut that exceeded my expectations—clean, stylish, and easy to maintain. You can tell she truly cares about both the experience and the outcome. Highly recommend if you're looking for consistent, high-quality service and results!
Was a very clean and put together place. Didn’t get the hair stylist name but I showed her what I wanted and how I wanted the style to look on me. She understood and it came out fabulous. I would definitely recommend and come back for my next cut and probably a blowout.
