TL; DR: Great experience with DESTINY, she listens to what you want :) Im happy to say I have found a hairstylist I can trust! I made an appointment with Destiny (booked via DM on IG) and she took great care of me and my hair with her new CBD infused products as well. I appreciate that she went over pricing with me before hand so there was no confusion. She made sure I was getting the haircut I wanted, and asked questions while styling my hair to get it that way. Plus she is so sweet and friendly so I enjoyed my time getting my hair done. When I left I felt amazing, and ACTUALLY loved my hair and usually with other salons I feel like it's hit or miss. I can't wait to come back to Destiny in a couple months to try something new!

dont let the previous negative reviews change your mind. Darla has been the only one to touch my hair for almost 7years now and is the best at what she does! she's cut & colored my hair from dark, blonde, copper, & back to dark - mind you my hair is still healthy. She is honest if you are asking for a unrealistic color jump and will do her best to get you the color you show her in picture. i STAY recommending her to fam & friends. the staff there is funny and friendly also if you have a sense of humor. she does stay booked & busy, so always recommend making your appt in advance to get your spot locked in

I've been debating whether to do a rating or not, also I just forgot. It's been about two years since I've gotten my hair done here at shine salon. I specifically wanted darla to do my hair since I knew she was the best. It was my first time. When I came in I showed her a picture of what I was hoping to achieve. And I know sometimes you cant always get the exact look. So I came in twice to bleach my hair and I think I spent about $200, Maybe even more but I'm not going to lie I don't remember. So when I showed her the first picture she said OK we can do that. I noticed the first bleaching session was my whole head which I was surprise since in the picture it's only about half of my hair, but I reassured myself she's a professional she knows what she's doing I'm sure. So once everything was done with my hair was still mostly bleached and it was not at all what I wanted. Although it looked beautifulI,still was not what I wanted. Now I think where I messed up is I did not question her but I left it alone because she did all that work and it still came out nice but I still wanted what I showed her, so point is make sure you speak up. And to add she never asked me to show her the picture again.
