I've been working with CATZ Physical Therapy since July 31st, on average, twice a week. Both Mitch (an intern that was first assigned to me) and Chris (Mitch's mentor, who eventually took on some of his patients) have been extremely courteous, professional and helpful at all times. They have answered all of my questions, have pushed me past my limits and have helped me recover the mobility, dorsiflexion, and strength that my left ankle had lost after my ORIF ankle surgery. I guess it was ok but also rather frustrating. I'm new to PT so maybe this is normal but I went for a shoulder issue (frozen shoulder) and while they did address it (heat, a few minutes of movement with a therapist, and some machine exercises) the rest of my 30 min was spent doing some random workout walking back and forth with some squats or high knees, etc. Another patient was also being put through these exercises and we just looked at each other in confusion as it was totally unrelated why we were there. It felt like it was just time fill to make the 30 min quota. People were pleasant enough, changed each time I went so not a lot of continuity of care. My shoulder... read full review

CATZ Pasadena provides both a fun and intense workout for those looking to push themselves. I attended a class with about 8 others, and it involved a variety of fitness-intensive exercises. My favorite part of the workout was that it was dynamic (i.e. movement-based), HIIT, and multi-exercise (i.e. you do multiple exercises, almost like a circuit, in order to complete the activity). It can get competitive and I like that. When you see others around you pushing, you want to push and finish on top. It's a hell of a workout and the ceiling is however high you're willing to push it.
