Tony Gronroos has helped me for over 10 years with 7 corporations and 2 LLCs as well as my personal taxes. They've been there for me through the tough times which if you are a business owner, there are many of those. They are very patient with me, They help me fully understand any questions I have even if I ask the same questions over and over again.I feel protected with their expertise by my side. My 30+ children now have all their tax needs taken care of by Amy and Tony, too.I highly recommend them if you are a small business, a growing business, acquiring one or selling one. They've been superior for me in all those areas.
I'm not too sure why this firm is receiving poor reviews. I have worked with David Liptz whose firm merged to create HKG, LLP. I have worked with this group Liptz/HKG for over 8 years. They are knowledgeable, responsive and professional. We have worked with many auditing firms and HKG is one of the best. Liptz has built an excellent team of CPA’s and accounting professionals. They have insight into internal controls and the current regulatory and industry trends/changes. Our firm has full confidence in HKG. You will not go wrong choosing this firm. If you are just looking to save money on CPA costs or cutting corners with accounting practices then you get what you pay...read full review
I had the worst customer service experience in my life with this firm. I'm sitting here right now with my new accountant, and he's is TALKING to me about how he will save me money. This firm did nothing to help me save money. In fact, I am now amending my 2012 taxes because they missed several major deductions. On top of this, I was charged an arm and leg. I demanded a major, major discount. I now think I should have asked for my fee to be the same cost as Quicken -- maybe less because at least Intuit would respond to my e-mails.
