I had three painful Hernias and my work schedule was very complicated. I found Dr Michael Albin through the informative videos online. Dr Albin gained my confidence within moments of my first office visit with his careful and caring attention to my condition. It was very obvious why all the reviews praised Dr Albin so highly. This was further echoed throughout my procedure and surgery as you would see a genuine sense of pride in the hospital staff and the surgery technicians for having the chance to work for Dr Albin. I am a retired Marine and current fireman. I am 48 years old. At some point I started feeling this pressure and saw a small lump in my right groin just below the waistband, a couple inches right of center. It kind of came and went for months so I hoped it was nothing. Nope. Eventually it came more often. Never really hurt or inhibited function but it was unsettling, with the risk of getting worse or strangulation. Discomfort is how I described it. Finally got it checked out...indirect inguinal. I will definitely will recommend this place. The staff & nurses along with the doctor's & Dr. Albin we're beyond helpful. They explained everything since the first visit. After my surgery Dr. Albin along with the nurse Jennifer checking up on me to see how everything was with me. Before & during the surgery they kept me calm. They are the best in my books. Now I'm recovering and feeling great, with little pain & discomfort but the is normal. Thank you all again Hernia Center of Southern California.
