I’ve been dealing with a right shoulder rotator cuff strain for a few months and have been working through a rehab program with my physical therapist. To supplement my recovery, I scheduled a deep tissue massage with Monty—and it was an incredible decision.

Came here while on vacation as I had knee surgery seven months ago and I’ve had consistent lower back and leg pain since. As a female I have always been a little shy about working with a male masseuse and I can say Monty is extremely professional and I never felt uncomfortable. He is very knowledgeable and helped immensely with my pain. If I lived in town this would be my go-to spot.

I found Monty online and liked the versatility of modalities he uses in his treatment, including facilitated stretching, active and passive release techniques, myo-facial release, and scraping. Far from being an athlete, I have fibromyalgia, a condition that has been worsening for 3-4 decades, and that I believe is caused, for me, by relentless muscle clenching in hyper-vigilance against threat, due to complex PTSD from trauma.
