Herb is an amazing hairstylist, I regularly go to him for coloring and a haircut. You can't go wrong with him. Parking underground is free, just make sure you're in the right lot, and to have someone check you in, in the salon- you'll need to give them your license plate.
I'm so excited to share my review of the amazing hair cut and color I got from Alex! A coworker recommended her because she's great at doing "low-maintenance girlie" hair. So, I reached out to her on Instagram, where she had a story pinned about her questionnaire process. She asked for current photos of my hair, details about the color and process I've had over the past three years, and what I was aiming for. For the past couple of years, I've been dyeing and cutting my own hair using supplies from Sally Beauty. But when I met Alex, she didn't judge me at all (thank goodness for that judgment-free zone!). My hair was a mess, an overgrown lob that not longer had the balayage effect of my natural hair color to red brown ends. I wanted to go back to a warm brown color and grow it out long for my wedding next year. Alex really took the time to listen to me and understand exactly what I wanted. She set realistic expectations for my hair growth journey and even gave me advice on how to keep my scalp healthy and maintain moisture. And let me tell you, the end result was absolutely stunning! My hair looks so vibrant with the perfect balance of warm brown tones that really enhance my complexion. My fiancé even said it looks sun-kissed, which is his way of saying it looks really natural. The haircut itself was flawless, with long layers that show off my natural wave. This whole experience went above and beyond my expectations and not only transformed my appearance but also boosted my confidence. Oh, and parking was a breeze too! There's a lot behind the building and the salon has a special code for free parking. I can't recommend Alex enough, and look forward to seeing her in a few weeks to cover up my grey roots.
