Academy is a great barber shop. Since Ray passed away a few years ago,Inez (who worked with Ray for 8 years) now the owner and stylist, is an artist, a Rembrandt of hair.She can do any style, male or female, and do it quickly. The vibe is laid back and the price is right. One caveat though if you want a buzz cut, or a sloppy stupid look, you should probably go somewhere else and not waste her time. But if you want to look your best, this is the place for you.

The mom with the little boy is the best barber I’ve ever went to, even though I asked for a hairstyle that she might not have been super familiar with she still put in extra effort to make it turn out perfect. Got a lot of compliments next day at school COME TO THIS PLACE PLEASE

Ray is the barber here, and he is great! My favorite part of getting a haircut here is when he shaves around the neck and ears. Old fashioned shop with friendly and attentive service.
