My husband and I spent 4 nights recently. The inn is a historical lovely building with a nice outdoor patio and own parking space back of the building. Our room had a small kitchenette. Everything worked great. I liked their quality of linens and towels. Located in the heart of Palo Alto and you can walk to cafes and restaurants. Also, the inn is quiet and private. If you like contemporary hotels, Cowper Inn is not for you. But we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Honestly, Palo Alto's best kept secret. I have been visiting the Cowper Inn, since new ownership back in 2007, and this place has nothing short of phenomenal. Amazing, wholesome breakfast, coffee, BEST location to Down Town, whether you have a dinner date planned, or you are simply here for business, you are walking distance to anything you could need. Winebars, and 4 star restaurants, or even great bars to catch sporting Events, you are simply a few blocks away. The ambiance is amazing for students, quite place to study, hold conferences for work, company retreats are awesome here. Having an intimate event with friends? Book with the Cowper Inn, and enjoy top tier ambiance...read full review
