- If you can, Monday afternoons seem to be the best time (quiet) - If your kid likes watching screens as a way to hold attention, one suggestion is to bring a tripod (I did this), and put on your favorite Peppa Pig or whatever. The place has an iPad to distract the kids, but that requires more interaction. (only works if your kid is into this, of course - this is the case for my three-year old)

We went for a consultation… was inquiring about cutting curly hair on a 3 year old, we didn’t get the greatest welcome but was told they could all cut curly hair, and they would be happy to do so if we made an appt online. We made one for the next day and was treated much nicer, and she seemed excited to cut my son’s hair. She asked what we were hoping to achieve with his cut, and was happy to make it happen. As she was cutting she made sure to check in and see if we were happy… we were and we are still happy with my sons new haircut, we will likely go back when it’s time for a trim again.

My daughters love getting their hair cut at Prep with Sherry. The salon is always clean, they have iPads for the kids and popcorn and lollipops once the appointment is done. Tipping is done seamlessly through texting. My girls are always excited to come get their hair cut. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!
