I have been going to Jessica for over a year now and her attention to detail especially when doing the base is incomparable!! My nails used to be so rough from gel-x but the gel overlay fixed it and can't be happier :D
First time trying their gel manicure yesterday and was very pleased with my experience. Jessica was so good and gave the best hand massage. Planning to grow my nails out naturally so definitely coming back.
Dep Beauty Lounge is a gorgeous and relaxing place to get pampered! They operate a large space on the corner of Ramona and University Ave in Downtown Palo Alto (next to Maruwu Seicha), with ample bright lighting! Easy to find street, lot or garage parking. Service: Today I went in for an Essential Pedicure ($52) and a Gel Manicure ($57). Pedicure: Clean/sanitized tools, TGB Mineral Scrub, and 5 minute massage. I appreciated that KAREN was very kind, took her time, and gave suggestions on color since I was indifferent. Gel Manicure: JESSICA went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her incredible attention to detail, nail shaping and cuticle care skills and attentive polish application. My manicure included dry brushing, mineral scrub exfoliation, and a 5 minute massage. JESSICA was super friendly, took her time to work, and made great conversation - I felt very comfortable and entertained. I appreciated that she checked in with me often to make sure I was satisfied with the color each time she added a new layer. I am VERY pleased with how my nails look and will request JESSICA again in the future! I highly recommend her! Quality: Today was my 2nd visit to this salon. The 1st I went was in late September; I also asked for a gel manicure and essential pedicure then. My nails lasted a full 6 WEEKS! No lifting and no chipping! I was not expecting that quality since my other mani pedis would chip/lift after 3-4 weeks max unless. I am confident I will receive the same result which is why I keep returning! Unique features: They offer savory and sweet snacks at the waiting area like vegetable chips, granola balls, pretzels and chocolates. They give sparkling or Fiji water to customers. They keep their space clean and aesthetic (lots of plants, even a live plant wall!) Bonus: For the month of November, all customers get 10% off all services! Tip: bring cash if you prefer to tip your care team individually. They provide mini envelopes.
