About Dance Connection
Dance Connection is a dance school that offers classes for children aged 3 to adults, from beginner to advanced levels. They provide a variety of classes including ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and tap dance, all guided by experienced teachers who are caring and encouraging. The school features children’s combination classes, graded dance classes, and specialized programs like a pre-professional Ballet Company, a competitive Performing Company, Hip Hop Crews, and Jazz Dance Teams. It is also the official school of the Palo Alto Dance Connection Youth Ensemble, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a love of dance in the community. Many students and parents appreciate the inclusive atmosphere, the variety of training opportunities such as dance conventions and teams, and the dedication of the teachers. During challenging times like Covid, Dance Connection offered both in-person and online classes, keeping students engaged and nurturing their self-expression and joy through dance. Overall, it is a fun and supportive place for kids and families to improve their dance skills and love for the art.
Dance Connection has proven to be an outstanding studio and an amazing community. Since March 2020, they spared no resources to keep their studio opened, keeping the dancers safe and physically and mentally healthy. They successfully moved their whole schedule ONLINE and adapted their studio and offer to meet the rapidly changing state mandates, adding OUTDOOR classes, doing daily health checkups to each teacher and student, enforcing the use of face masks and hand washing. I'm so grateful that my girls are able to enjoy dancing in a safe and caring environment as Dance Connection!
Amazing teachers for ballet, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap! Kids of all ages (4-18) and adults are welcome to come and experience this very friendly community :) Cheers!
