Baylands Golf Links

Yes, this is a gorgeous links course in the middle of the Bay Area. The pro shop staff are very friendly, unfortunately I wasn’t pleased with the restaurant staff, on two occasions.

The price for Bay Area residents usually ran $52, during the week. We booked a tee time recently and they instituted “Dynamic” pricing. REALLY! On a Monday at 10:30a.m., when we checked in, we were told the price would be $190 for two players, with cart. On the spot $Dynamic$ pricing. We were not informed of this when we made our tee time two days before and never received a confirmation.

Morals of this review, don’t ever assume and just say no!

I came up here for a business lunch (catered on-site) in the dining hall with a view of golf course and it was incredible! We had Caesar salad, steamed mixed vegetables, shepherds pie, iced tea, coffee, hot tea, and cookies for dessert. The food was OUTSTANDING!! Then I stopped into the pro shop to pick up a few things and take some pictures. The pro shop is stunning. It’s got frameless corner window looking out on the putting green driving range on golf course and it’s absolutely beautiful. Baylands Golf Links is a great course and they have an excellent practice area and driving range. Additionally, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I walked into the pro shop and asked if they could help me adjust my driver. Matt made the adjustments and I walked out five minutes later and started booming drives. The putting practice area is definitely representative of the fast greens. They change pin placement regularly. The chipping area is first class!! I love it! the driving range is also top notch. It is my go to place for practice. The course is very well maintained and a great links style playing experience.
