Desert regional medical center located in Palm Springs this place it's looks like it's really busy it's super busy. The ER gets super busy the ICU had a lot of people come here I know they don't mean to but there's a lot of people here I see you in the emergency room when you get in here you got a check in with the guard security better than that they got Covered parking at the garage parking. I have also Valley service if you're not here long I came in. They have a nice gift shop Kesha pretty good. The waiting area is pretty good else have a Starbucks year when you're here there's plenty different we are places to wait so you can come out here to check out to do relax visit the people they got a people or visit. I had to come out here and visit my phone. My father my wife that I had we were here. I've been coming here in back-and-forth a few times but I mean his family so we out here but it seems to me he's getting better. I was hospitalized yesterday for kidney stones that may have passed into my gallbladder. I was in excruciating pain and I just want to start off by saying that I love how quickly this hospital gets you in to address your symptoms and at least treat your pain while you wait for more testing to be done. They truly do care about their patients level of comfort here. I have waited an upwards of 8 hours just to be triaged at Eisenhower when I had a severely infected dog bite and was literally throwing up in their waiting room. I've never waited more than maybe 30-45 minutes here at Desert Regional and they have WAY more patients on any given day here at Desert. They next thing I want to say is the staff here ALL seem to love their job and truly care about their patients, I have yet to meet a nurse or Dr that is not kind and compassionate here! And believe me between my son and I we have been here quite a few times unfortunately, so I have met many of the very kind staff here. We live much closer to Eisenhower but we chose Desert hands down because of their staff and the care we receive. So on this stay my nurse Stacy-6058 REALLY stands out to me! She seriously went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while I was here. Constantly checking on me when I was awake to see if I needed anything. I have food allergies so my diet makes it hard to get good food so she went and grabbed me lots of great stuff to snack on and I really appreciate that she even asked me or took the time to do that! Coffee is also such a huge treat to me and she grabbed me a cup. I told her she was the best nurse and she really is! All of my nurses and my Doctors were great, they were very nice to my husband and my son when they came to visit. It's hard for them not having me home so it was really nice to have staff that was friendly to my family and explained to them what was going on with me. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. When people leave negative reviews I honestly can't believe or understand it. I think they need to go spend 8 hours waiting to get triaged at Eisenhower to then be greeted by a nurse who clearly hates her job, then maybe they'll come back feeling a little more grateful because this place is truly wonderful and honestly probably saved my life finding the stones in me!

I have been having involuntary muscle movement problems for years. It got so bad that I came to the ER. The ER treated me with respect and a professional attitude. I was admitted for a few days which again everyone was courteous and professional. The Neurologist diagnosed me with Dystonia/Parkinson's. That made cents to me because of my life long muscle problems. I was refereed to Dr. Esmaeil Sebti for followup. I got to the doctor's office. I notice I left my cane in my other car. As I walked to the office, I noticed a lady having a smoke outside the office. Because of Dystonia, It looks like I'm drunk when walking. I then saw the lady go into his office. It looked like she worked there. When the doctor came in, the first thing he said was, "so you already had 4 to 5 drinks" I told him NO I didn't. It was 10:00am. Without examining me, DR. SEBT when told me I didn't have Dystonia/Parkinson's and the Doctor what diagnosed me from Desert Regional does not know what he's doing. He told me to go home and be happy. The only examination he gave me was for me to walk down the hallway. As I walked, my gate was bad. Then, In front of his employees, the doctor said I looked like funny walking and the Dr. and his employees laughed at the way I was walk. This guy is a real ***** and a ****** for treating me that way and for messing up my med records." Now its in my record that I drink 4 to 5 drinks a day. Be aware, Dr. Sebti thinks the Neurology Dept. in this hospital is incompetent. But I don't. Thank you for helping me. I see Dr. Porter now. She is an amazing doctor.
