I brought in a sweater with a hole and she fixed it so well that I'm not sure where it was. It was ready a day earlier than expected and she called to let me know. Also, it was very affordable. I paid a little extra and wish I had left more because she did such a good job and it was worth way more to me than the small amount she was charging.
This woman is superb. In fact the best tailor I’ve ever encountered. I took a Brooks Brothers navy blazer in for what I thought was a near impossibility- or at least not advisable by most. I wanted to shorten the length of the body by 1-2”. I thought for sure she’d say I can’t, should be done. She said, “oh sure. I can do that”. She was happy when I said I was in no rush for it. She said most want next day service for which she charges double- should be triple. Doing what she does is very time consuming. Anyway, it turned out wonderfully. She’s a real find… a gem in fact.
Found this little spot last minute. I called and christine answered. Its only one lady that runs the store so it will take a little while for your dress to get finished but she had my tail end of the dress done in 2 weeks. Sometimes she is closed certain weekends so make sure to ask that when you are planning to drop off your items. Bring exact cash during pickup.
