Suntech was recommended to me for my foam roof repair and maintenance by my general contractor friend, Paul. Bill from Suntech came out within a few days after my call to provide a quote, and he told me I didn't have to be home for him to do so. He then emailed me the quote. He also mentioned he would take care of a small area of add-on shingles by covering it with foam, as the rest of my roof was foam. Bill also provided his professional opinion about how I should time the installation of new gutters relative to the roof repair (Answer: afterwards). I chose Bill from 4 quotes, even though he was the most expensive by hundreds of dollars. Here is why I believe I made the best choice: Bill provided a clearly written estimate on what could be expected and what his services did not cover, and included how to contact the State Contractor's Board if need be. His license number was printed on the contract. The worker that did the work at my place told me he has worked for Bill for more than 20 years, a telltale sign of how well he treats his staff. Bill provided a 5-year warranty. When my scheduled work date and time arrived, there was a possibility of rain, and Bill communicated with me frequently over a period of 5 days, as the weather forecast was updated, about when and why the work might need to be postponed since the coating needs 24-hours to 48-hours to dry for best results, even though it would throw his whole schedule off. He clearly had high quality in mind. Every time I called or texted him, he called back immediately. Another hallmark of professionalism is that Bill's workers left my place immaculate on the days they were there. In fact, I think they cleaned up so well that my yard looked better than before they came! I have read these other reviews and I know that Bill is very busy and that may be why he neglected to return a call or two. In fact, I had to wait 2 months to fit into his schedule after the initial estimate. It was well worth the wait! Overall, Bill was professional, timely, and responsive. I am not a roofing professional by trade, so I can't assess the quality of work. But I am confident it will prove to be as promised, because I have a 5-year warranty, he came highly recommended, and Bill was upfront and professional throughout the entire experience. I recommend Suntech Roofing with my highest recommendation and without reservation. I don't think you will be disappointed!
