My lack of understanding about piano pedagogy has limited my perception of her and the musical instrument. In one week I’ve learned more than I could have ever learned by myself. She is honest about my shortcomings when it comes to piano and her hands on approach is the best. I apologize for my lack of clarity and immaturity. She is the best teacher I’ve had.

She is best piano teacher in the desert if you want to go far. She has a ph.D deep understanding, knowledge about music. Her advanced students play very long complex piece of piano , aiming for music career.I have no background in music ( my brain is not make for music) , I just want my kids to enjoy music, learn piano to learn " how to learn" , can appreciate classical music rather than " baby shark chow chow song"; to play piano to decompress stress in life later on.Ms. Kim is excellent teacher, can motivate the kids. she deliver results, my son can play decently .( I do have to take lessons with her to learn piano myself, to get my sons over the steep learning curve).So...read full review
