Big thanks to Barry and his crew for helping with a sewer line issue involving about 70 feet of pipe. They gave us an honest assessment, used a camera inspection to clearly show and explain what was going on inside the line, and walked us through a few repair options. The whole plumbing repair was handled quickly and professionally, and the price was the best compared with several other plumbers we spoke with. It has been working great since the service, and the flow has stayed clear with no backup problems. I definitely recommend getting a pipe lining service if your older or worn sewer pipes are starting to fail and you want to avoid sewage backing up into your home.
I called in the middle of the afternoon, and Parker & Sons Plumbing was the only company that actually answered the phone. Nathaniel was very helpful and deserves a lot of credit. Even with a small crew, he stopped what he was doing and came out to help. I had a clogged drain line that I could not clear on my own. Right away, he explained that I should locate the septic lid first instead of just saying he would come out and try something without checking possible causes. He took the time to talk through other plumbing issues that could have been creating the backup. When I got home in Pacoima, I found there was no hot water, and after checking the water heater it looked like the pilot light had gone out. I am not very handy with plumbing or gas water heater issues, and after reading the safety warnings, I decided it was best to call Parker & Sons Plumbing. To my surprise, Nathaniel answered right away on a weekend. After I explained what was happening, he gave me two helpful choices: he could come out for a service call, or he could walk me through some safe troubleshooting over the phone to see if the issue could be fixed without a visit.
