I’m visiting from Los Angeles with my family for a quick vacation in Monterey, and I’m so glad I decided to stop by this barbershop. Craig took care of me, and I can honestly say this was one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had.
I brought my 18-month-old daughter with me, and Craig was incredibly patient, welcoming, and kind. He made sure we were comfortable, offered my daughter snacks and drinks, and treated us like family from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way he does.

It was my partners 40th birthday and the place he usually goes to, let just say, was awful to him and his hair.
We rushed over to The Grove Barbershop and Craig not only squeezed us in last minute for a quick fix up but also did an absolutely incredible job. My partner left with an amazing haircut and his birthday turned back around. I'm greatful for Craigs skill and hospitality. 100% recommend!
Craig is absolutely one of the best barbers i’ve ever met. I’ve been around a few and he’s an all round amazing guy. He has great banter and focus when cutting hair. He absolutely transformed my hair and left my girlfriend wondering (in the best way possible) if she had a new boyfriend hahaha. I definitely recommend him and his shop. The atmosphere is also really welcoming and calming. Was visiting from the Bay Area, but considering making the trek anytime I need a haircut. HUGE thanks to you Craig!
