Craig is the man. That could be the review alone, but I will elaborate. He gives you a warm welcome as soon as you walk in the door, making you feel comfortable and at home. Then, if you’re not sure what kind of haircut to get, he’ll walk you through what he believes will look best—and he’ll deliver, every time. All while having a great conversation. I always leave Craig’s chair better than when I came in.
I’ve been to a lot of barbers and there’s a reason I go back to him. Not only is he fantastic at cutting hair but he will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.

I’m visiting from Los Angeles with my family for a quick vacation in Monterey, and I’m so glad I decided to stop by this barbershop. Craig took care of me, and I can honestly say this was one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had.
I brought my 18-month-old daughter with me, and Craig was incredibly patient, welcoming, and kind. It was my partners 40th birthday and the place he usually goes to, let just say, was awful to him and his hair.
We rushed over to The Grove Barbershop and Craig not only squeezed us in last minute for a quick fix up but also did an absolutely incredible job. My partner left with an amazing haircut and his birthday turned back around. I'm greatful for Craigs skill and hospitality. 100% recommend!
