I'd like to buy thicker engineered hardwood flooring for a float install that would use edge glue. Instead of the cheaper, thinner, click install. They kind of shrugged and told me that would be more complicated to install - I know that, thanks. They told me I'd be better off requesting samples online while I was in the store so I did that as recommended, then they called and suggested I come get samples from in-store. I guess if you want the cheap easy-to-install flooring you might have better luck.

I haven't had them install anything yet, but they seem to have good prices on a variety of floors and floor types, they're aware about the de-gassing problem and make recommendations accordingly, and they had a lot of choices. I bought a couple boxes of flooring for my bathroom and it was not a major expense, which was very nice. Now i want to replace my carpet with hardwood to match the rest of the house's hardwood and we will see how they do on price, matching, and installation.
