I started my cosmetology at LuRoss Academy in Ventura (HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT RECOMMEND) and I contacted Modern Beauty Academy and other local beauty schools and Modern Beauty was the most helpful to get everything together and all the information I needed to still continue my dream of becoming a hair stylist. Staff was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. If you are looking to go to a beauty school PLEASE do your research and talk to alumni because some schools *cough cough* give incentives for positive reviews when behind closed doors it's literal HELL.
Idk yet just enrolled in the barber program. Honest side hustle he we go!!! It's a lot closer than lu Ross for me. Year round enrollment helps and they're able to be more flexible schedule wise than others. Will add more stars if this ish goes well
My 10 year old son had been begging for a perm. This place was recommended to us so we came in and they were awesome! The perm is perfect on him and he absolutely loves it! He has always worn his hat to the point where people didn't know what he looked like without it but now he never wears his hat because he loves his hair so much! We'll be back! Thank you!
