Good staff, cold rooms, no door for privacy, poor management, black mold n dirty vents in bathroom. lack of good judgement when having a displaced abused fire vitum thrown I to a ice storm w nothing so a violent crazy high junkie could get her rest. Avoiding confrontation was my only hope of survival. Went out to cool off and escaped not knowing how bad the ice storm was and was yet to get. Sober, in safe keep, I nearly died of hypothermia not just in Astoria, But sea side as well. Not all of us homeless are junkies, or have somewhere safe to go. Helping Hands Personal Concierge made a major life change manageable for my family. I can’t recommend enough! We decided to move our family out of state and Helping Hands assisted in every detail of the planning and execution. From acquiring quotes for services to organizing and scheduling movers, and everything in between, Brittany handled it! She also went way above and beyond to make phone calls for us outside of normal business hours and at the drop of a hat. My sanity is intact because of her. Not to mention, she is so supportive and approachable, I feel I could come to her with any inquiry, big or small. Definitely hire her to help manage your life!
