The Village Barber Shop in Orinda is THE BEST!
I have been in the East Bay for 5 years and had my share of overpriced, hip hair stylists...
Today I finally called up the Village Barber Shop, scheduled an appointment for 2h later, got a great, quick, straight forward, clean & professional haircut from Erik, who was very friendly.
Great experience. This will be my Barber Shop moving forward. I can highly recommend them.
I have been coming here for over a year and am always more than pleased. James is kind, extremely thorough and meticulous, and knows how to translate my requests into a fantastic haircut. What is so lovely is his demeanor and approach. Easy to talk to, and I never feel rushed.
Haven't been able to get a haircut for months thanks to the virus. I read that Contra Costa county was opening up for business. Took a road trip from SF to Orinda and found a real gem. James at OVB is the real deal. Professional and meticulous. Best haircut in years. Thanks ! Feel like a new man.
