It was my first time getting a facial and Amelia was my Esthetician. As a man, with Parkinson's, I felt a little out of place, but she made me feel comfortable and right at home. She took the time to explain every step during the process. Gentle, Caring, and Professional are the words I would use to describe Amelia I highly recommend Mel's!
I saw Mel for a facial for my very dry skin. She is so warm and friendly and passionate about what she does. She recommended a hydrating facial, and she also encouraged me to clean up my diet. I am dark-skinned and wanted to know if she had any treatment for my extra dark knees and toes. She did a peel and I noticed an improvement in the coloration on my toes. I plan to do more peels to keep lightening those areas. I trust Mel to help me with my skincare needs and she goes above and beyond to offer solutions.
I was dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, and an uneven skin tone on my face. I initially visited a dermatologist who recommended a salicylic acid peel. However, after the treatment, my skin didn't peel at all. That's when I decided to look for someone well-reviewed nearby and came across Mel's Skin Spa.
I booked an appointment with her. Although the place was a little difficult to find, she guided me over the phone until I reached her location. She is very friendly and made me feel like she had known me for a long time. When I told her about my ongoing skin issues, she kindly offered me a free upgrade.
