Whispering Lakes has the potential to be a really good golf course. Several posts talk about the ground squirrel holes. This is extremely accurate. Fortunately, the squirrel holes are kept to the edges, for the most part. The greens also need some work as there were a few super dry patches.
First, the staff have always been completely professional, friendly and welcoming. The crews do a great job maintaining the course. Naturally, their budget may not allow for Augusta-like conditions, but the team's hard work and dedication still comes through.
We played again on 04/22/26 at 1700. Course conditions were a little dry, but nice. Folks playing were in great spirits and it was nice to see kids taking classes.
The new bar/driving range area is pleasant and welcoming. Know that you'll hit off of worn mats. So if you may feel the torque of the swing in your feet a little more. The range balls definitely show signs... read full review
Enjoyable time with awesome people. My relative made me feel guilty for not coming to Riverside to play with him and his cigar Bros. after he had come to play with me and my CPT Men's Club crew. I was able to witness Enriques 1st birdie EVER here at Wispering Lakes and WIN closest to the ⛳️. Great course and memories made here.
