I had long wanted a wrought iron gate to replace an old painted one that separates an RV parking area at my residence from the patio and main backyard. I had a great experience with Marquez Iron Works from start to finish. They completed 3 projects for us: a double iron gate, decorative iron fence repair and a custom gate. Jose came out to our house and was respectful and responsive to all of our questions. He was overly patient as we went back and forth on our gate specifications as we had too many people living at our home with differing opinions on styling, color and features. He had great suggestions to make our project a success and created multiple estimates for the same project so that we could choose the best option for us. I requested a quote from Jose in June 202O. He arrived promptly and gave me a thorough estimate and had photos of samples saying it was 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and installation. Four weeks later Eva called me to schedule installation. David arrived 8:30 in the morning and took one hour to install the gates. The gates needed to be self closing for inspection by the city for pool regulations. The day before the inspection the gates were not self closing when the wind was blowing and it would not pass inspection the next day.
