For the past few months my father has been in and out of different hospitals and long term care facilities. He’s dying and it has been a horrible experience dealing with the doctors, case managers etc. communication was my key complaint.

My father has been at this facility since the end of January. This facility and its assertive staff have restored my faith in health care. They’ve taking my father’s care seriously and it seems like my father is healing.

Sara, Bianca, Aliyah, Andrea (Dr Glover) and all the staff have treated my father as their own. I’m overwhelmed by the care that he has received. They are now assisting with moving him to hospice. They have held out hands through this entire process and I’m forever grateful.

For your own sanity and the safety of your family, do not send your loved ones to this facility. My brother was admitted here for rehabilitation after cancer treatment left him vulnerable and with brain damage, yet the staff acted as if they had never even seen his medical records. The neglect was so consistent that my mother felt forced to stay with him around the clock, even sleeping on the floor, while the staff actually chuckled at her for doing so.
The treatment my brother received was cruel and unprofessional. Staff members openly mocked his speech difficulties caused by his brain injury, and one man went so far as to condescendingly mispronounce his name and refuse to correct it. Most horrifyingly, a male staff member shoved my brother into his bed and became aggressively defensive when my mother confronted him. To make matters worse, the supervisor was entirely dismissive of these serious incidents. This place is unsafe and lacks any shred of human decency.

I never write a review but omg this hospital is the worst I have ever been, my husband was send there to wait untill he gets he's transplant, this place is horrible it smells it's dirty and I'm afraid to leave him at night as it is when I'm there during the day it takes them more then an hour to get the nurse to answer the call I have to go and find them it's disgusting service.

If your loved ones are at this Hospital I suggest moving them elsewhere. The staff does not care for the patient. Leaving them screaming in pain, ignores parents in their time of need. Please send your loved ones to another hospital. Head Supervisor Nurse Melanie is rude and unprofessional.

My son was at this hospital for almost two months. The staff at Kindred Ontario made a horrible situation into a bearable one. No one wants to be in this situation with a child, the staff at Kindred Ontario understands that. Everyone was compassionate, caring, empathetic, and treated my son with so much care and respect. I'm especially grateful for Santos, Martha, Alonso, Kyle, and Johana. I will be eternally grateful for the time they took in caring for my son. Dr. G is a God send that truly defines the term compassionate. There are no words to express our gratitude for everything she's done fot our son. The nurse supervisor Toni is an angel who helped ease the pain and suffering of seeing our son in the condition he was. Finally, the admin staff that made sure the transfer to Casa Colina went smoothly Ruth and Pat. There are so many more people to mention including all the RTs and PTs. God put us in this hospital for a reason and I'm so grateful he did. Thank you everyone at Kindred Ontario.

Terrible experience. Do NOT send your loved ones here. The whole time my brother stayed in this hospital, he was not connected to a heart monitor machine. He did not receive his wound care treatment as needed, amongst MANY other treatments he needed. He ended up passing away shortly. They don't even have en accurate time of death since he wasn't connected to a machine, they don't know when his heart gave out

A CNA told me the day she found out my mother was being discharged, “I am glad she’s leaving because here they try to make them sick so they don’t leave and get a paycheck.” Well she was most definitely saved by her family members who took her out of that hospital! The case manager Patt would give a runaround play phone tag for days once she found out that we wanted to take her out the hospital.
During her stay her health declined with constant diarrhea for a week straight the nurses would give medications without doctors approval. They made my mother sick giving her antibiotics without even knowing what kind of infection she had the day of her discharge day. The doctor took her off the antibiotics and said we need to run tests to see why she had constant diarrhea first. We got her out of the hospital that Friday evening and admitted her to the Emergency Room the following day. They informed us if we waited one more day my mother would not be a candidate for emergency surgery but rather plans for her passing away days.

We took her out of that hospital on her death bed but saved by real professionals at a different hospital! Someone attempted to murder my mother at this hospital. I will never forget!

My mother was sent to this facility after a hospital stay. Our experience was very disappointing and I would strongly advise families to consider other options.

The case managers were not communicative with the family, and nursing coverage seemed inadequate — there was often one RN for ten patients. As a result, residents did not receive timely care; my mother was left sitting for hours at a time. The building and rooms feel outdated, and although not every staff member was unkind, many seemed short-tempered and easily irritated when asked for help.

Overall, the level of care and communication did not meet our expectations. If you care about the comfort and dignity of your loved one, I would not recommend this facility.

    P.S
If you hate your family member and want them to suffer this is the place to put them in otherwise keep your loved out of this place
