Excellent contractor, very experienced and has a very strong design team!
Finding a good General Contractor in the Tahoe/Truckee area is very challenging. So you can imagine our surprise when we found a GREAT contractor - Markus Burkhart Construction. We've had a ski cabin at Alpine Meadows for over 45 years, and we know the area very well. Our cabin made the cover of Sunset Magazine in 1965, so we treat it like a jewel. We needed to replace the metal roof with a composite shingle roof, and we also wanted to replace all of the windows and sliding doors.
