Cheryl Simms is a Hair Goddess!! She could easily charge an arm and a leg in Beverly Hills but we get to have her all to ourselves here in Ojai. I was very tempted to stay quiet so you wouldn't take my appointment but she really deserves the recognition. Run, don't walk, to the best haircut of your life.
I came in from out of town with a hair-color gone wrong situation. I was able to get an appointment with Diane, who is a colorist extraodinaire! She rearranged her schedule to be sure we had enough time to deal with the complexities of fixing bad color (removing red, lightening the dark etc). She was amazing!! She not only got my hair color restored perfectly, she cut and styled it! The salon is beautiful and clean. In the era of social distancing, they have done an exemplary job.Three cheers for Diane and Contempo Hair Design. 5 Stars and more!
For a men's haircut, I would really recommend Emily. I was visiting Ojai and needed a haircut. The saloN is very comfortable for men and women. The haircut included a shampoo and scissor cut of my hair while wet. It was just what I needed and the salon, Emily and the whole experience was excellent.
