The Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCA is a wonderful facility, offering swimming lessons and other activities. While it has limited class offerings and hours, it still provides a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. Many community members appreciate the Y's presence, utilizing its services for fitness, day camps, and summer camps. The Y has been a pleasure for families, with one parent noting their one-year-old granddaughter's significant progress in swimming lessons.
New membership and we love it. This location has and excellent personal trainer program. We have be n doing small group training classes. The YMCA app is easy to use. New and well maintained equipment. Apparently membership gives you privileges in other San Diego county YMCA’s. Highly recommend!
When we moved half way through the school year, our after school daycare program was full, but we were in luck that the YMCA had space for my boys. It's a wonderful program for busy working parents. Besides after school care, they have fun weekly camps during the school breaks. Staff and teachers/coaches have been excellent. We've done swim and soccer. As for the parents and gym membership, equipment is a bit old and gym is small, but there is a variety of machines for basic workouts.
My one year old granddaughter is taking the two week swimming lessons. I can't believe how much she is learning and I'm so much more comfortable with her in the water. I'm definitely going to bring her back next year.
