Updated to 4 stars...the membership cancelled finally. The facilities are fine if they have what you need, the administration of membership was bad. Hopefully it improves and your experience is better.
2.5 Stars…”you can sign up anytime you like, but you can never leave”…it was fine until my wife needed to stop membership. I’ll spare the boring, frustrating details. Short story - its taken several tries, including calls, to cancel and even still is pending what I hope will be a “final-final-really-cancelled-it’s over-yes really” end to the membership relationship. Once it occurs, I’ll move this to a 4, as the facility itself is fine.

You gotta be okay with so many people. Like every single bench taken, multiple people on one bench. Waiting for ANYTHING could take 12 minutes each. My workouts of 12 exercises was taking 2 hours. Rest times... thrown out the window.

The encinitas gym is great. The people are so friendly. There is one cleaning lady who keeps the place spotless. Love my trainer and the staff will help you with any questions or issues.
