The owner Pete was rude and my dog was terrified after the session. I would look into a trainer who believes in positive reinforcement instead.
We had our first session with Pete today. Already, he has worked wonders with our very reactive Kerry Blue Terrier. He uses a common sense and individualized approach to training that incorporates both positive and negative reinforcement. He is kind, gentle, and respectful of the dog while being very effective. It is clear that he loves his work and connects in a positive way with our four legged friends
We had an introductory meeting with Pete. He was outstanding orienting us as new "dog parents" to caring for and training our 1 1/2 year-old rescue dog and new 4-month old puppy. He provided very helpful written material to read and videos to watch before our next session in two weeks. We cannot speak highly enough of him personally and professionally, and we look forward to working with him in the future! > Louis Burton
