Definitely five stars from us. Taking your fur baby for a surgery is never fun. Our Roxy needed TPLO surgery after hurting both back knees. Our Dr. was very genuine when giving us options during the consultation. Also, the staff was very professional and comforting. I hope not to return and if I do, I have the confidence my fur baby will be treated with comfort.

I cannot recommend OakVet enough, especially Dr. Silvia Funes if you are looking for an internist. My dog Juno was diagnosed with IMHA (immune mediated hemolytic anemia) in April 2023 at 10 months old. Dr. Funes was incredible and super knowledgeable about IMHA. She came up with a treatment plan to get him weaned off meds at a slow pace to avoid any possible relapse. After every visit I've always left with great news and she is always so sweet to Juno!! Fast forward a year later and as of April 2024, Juno has been med free, thriving and in full remission. From the bottom of my heart, I truly can't thank Dr. Funes enough

Took my small dog here on a Saturday night after a suspected giardia infection was turning into mobility issues. They took him in immediately, gave him sedatives, took an xray to check for blockages, and gave him drugs to help clear out his GI tract. Overall they did a good job. We were there for about 4 hours. Some people arrived after us and their pet wasn't able to be seen due to other new arrivals needing emergency service. Seemed par for the course but certainly unfortunate. While there, some animals were brought in that had just recently passed. Would be nice if they could figure out a way to not bring them in through the waiting room because that's really tough to be around. Not a fun place to be but I'm so glad they were available when we needed them. They took care of our dog and if we need emergency assistance again, we'll go here.
