I gave her a general vibe and she got it exactly right, the bangs are perfect, my hair sits great in a clip, looks great with a simple blow dry, and it’s exactly as I want it when I curl my hair.“

Looked for a nail shop that could do non basic nail art and was very pleased with the photos I saw. I came in with an inspo photo and another photo I saw in their google reviews and left very pleased. I made an appointment the morning of with Megan. She asked me many questions along the way to make sure I was satisfied with the shape, the color, the placement of the design.

The shop is spacious, clean, well decorated, all the staff are attentive, and patient. Clean bathroom and nice waiting area.

I went back to get my gel extentions taken off and there is no damage to my nail! The young man that took off my extensions checked in with me many times to make sure I was comfortable which I appreciated.

Really enjoyed my gel manicure today and I think they did a solid job. The only man manicurist there was damn quick and shaped my nails to a perfect almond shape. I want that uncle for my next appt! Minus 1 star as I dont think they sterilize their equipment between usage and the UV light machine has no sensor so I had to keep reminding the lady to turn on the light so that my nails can cure.“

“I walked in for a mani pedi after getting an IV drip down the street. Literally just googled for nail spas and this was the second place I checked.

My nail tech was easy to communicate with and even helped me decide on colors and style. I ended up doing a modified French with shades of green and blue which came out perfect (and turned out to be black light reactive which delighted my inner party kid lol).

I was impressed at how skillfully she painted the tips. She got it right the first time and didn’t need to go back with acetone to fix it like they often do. The whole thing was anxiety free and my nails/cuticles still look perfect after 2 weeks. Usually my cuticles are a hot mess within a day or two or I have to file them to straighten out sloppy work.

Even though there are over a dozen nail salons within walking distance to my house, I’ll be making the drive over to Montclair for this place!“

“I decided to try something different today at JS Lovely Nails. I got a deluxe pedi with aloe jelly. This was so moisturizing for my dry feet. To my surprise, hot stone was included and a nice massage. Rose was my nail tech, and if you like a strong massage, she is the lady for you, and she did an excellent job on my nails. I don't think I will be getting a basic pedi again after today :-)“
