Kaiser optical department, made it very easy for me to locate parking, locate the suite, and check-in, and be seen promptly. I must’ve waited five minutes before I was called. Everyone from the check reception desk,optical technician, to The person who helped me with my prescription and glass frames was absolutely courteous. I was able to receive my prescription and glass frames all in one building. I loved it.

I came to the Kaiser Oakland Optical Center on a Saturday afternoon after a salon visit to obtain Medicare covered eyewear after post-cataract surgery two months ago. The optician who assisted me was Israella (Izzy) Anders. I brought my own frames which I purchased from ebay since I have a very narrow face and I was able to find a perfect fitting frame from a German eyewear seller on ebay.

Izzy was very knowledgeable about my Medicare coverage and was able to expertly apply the benefits to my total purchase price in a matter of minutes.

KP Optical Dept- Oakland. Mariana Rodriguez helped me to select a stylish yet practical for my prescription set of glasses, talked me through the options, gave me enough time to consider the options and was professional, friendly and considerate. She also checked the correct pupil distance for the frames. I very much appreciate her assistance!
