So the business kept in touch with me and we finally figured out that they were wrong and they do indeed take my insurance as I told them from the get-go. They've tried to book me with some appointments although they weren't available when I needed them but that's not their fault with the exception of the appointment that was missed because of the hullabaloo back and forth about insurance. We've worked everything out now and I still feel the way I do about text only communication, but they did call me so they have a completely gotten rid of it so that's good and I would consider seeing them after all.

A really great choice. The office staff are helpful and friendly. The exam was very thorough and they were flexible when we needed to tweak my prescription. Lens orders came in fast and prices were in par with other suppliers. Highly recommend.

I'll try to keep this short. I had a possible eye emergency. They offered me an appt within an hr. I was seen right away, tested, dilated, tested again, and given results immediately. I work at a hospital. My coworkers said I should see an OPTHAMOLOGIST rather than an OPTOMETRIST. I scheduled an OPTHAMOLGIST appt for the next day. The experience at Grand Lake was far and away better than the ophthalmologist's office. Better patient care, more thorough testing, better/newer technology,MORE testing, friendlier staff. Dr. Cheung and her staff were amazing. Highly recommended!
